Disadvantages of the iPhone 4S
The iPhone 4S is probably the most famous smartphone in the world right now. You can thank all the Apple fanatics around the world for that. They think that Apple products are God’s gift to mankind. And as such, they keep on telling that to other people that believe otherwise.
In fact, the iPhone 4S sold over 4 million units in its opening weekend. That’s how hot the product is. Apple has heavily marketed the iPhone 4S as the only smartphone you’ll ever need.
It’s got everything that technology has to offer. Even a virtual assistant! Who knew that one day you could just talk into your phone and look for the best Italian restaurants in your state? That’s what the iPhone 4S has – Siri. A virtual assistant designed to make your life easier.
But for all of the hype and grandeur of the iPhone 4S, it’s still not a perfect machine. There are plenty of drawbacks you can find in the iPhone 4S. You just choose to ignore it. There are plenty of reasons why you should sell your iPhone 4S.
Should you sell your iPhone 4S immediately? That may seem like a rash thing to do, but you should definitely do so. There are plenty of products that you should try out there. In fact, it’s even better to consider downgrading!
Here are some disadvantages of the iPhone 4S that are going to stick with you until you sell it:
1. The new iOS 5
The new operating system of Apple for the iPhone 4S is a great thing. Notifications are no longer annoying, and the unlimited messaging between other iOS 5-powered iPod Touch and iPad are also great.
But since the iOS 5 can also be installed on the iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone 4, you’re basically going to get everything the iPhone 4S has, except the 8 megapixel camera.
2. The Design of the Phone
When you put the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S together, you’ll notice that both of them are the same.
If you’re going to release something new, it’s supposed to look new. Not the same as before! People will think that the product has no inherent features.
That’s the problem with the iPhone 4S. You think there’s nothing new with the phone, because it still looks the same as before. Even a little touch up on the look of the phone would have been nice
3. The battery is worse than before
The iPhone 4 boasts 300 hours of standby time, while the iPhone 4S has only 200. Why is that? Probably because of all the features they managed to cram into the phone.
That means you have to charge the phone more often. And you can’t always bring the charger around right? And the battery is still not replaceable. If the battery gets old, it’s going to drain faster than ever.
4. The display of the phone
The iPhone 4S still has the same 3.5 inch-screen display. While that might already be spacious, the real problem here is that the iPhone 4S still has the same screen resolution as the iPhone 4!
That means videos and photos will still look the same as before. The only difference is that with the new powerful chip of the 4S, everything’s going to be smoother. But they should’ve at least made the screen resolution sharper.
5. No 4G connectivity
The iPhone 4S has no 4G connectivity. Other smartphones have 4G, giving them impressive download speeds. Though the iPhone 4S may still have good data transfer rates, Apple needs to have the latest features packed into their products to keep up with the competition. The iPhone 4S cannot lag if they want it to succeed.
You should sell your iPhone 4S and try out the other smartphones. The best smartphones come from Samsung and Motorola. You should definitely check them out if you’re looking for a smartphone that has everything you need.
